The two-day course will consist of training and assessment, with candidates either achieving a Level 1 or Level 2 MIAS Mountain Bike Leadership award. The level will be based on the individual’s skills and their leadership performance during the assessment phase. You will need to be in possession of, and provide for the course a serviceable, working mountain bike capable of riding blue and red mountain bike trails, appropriate personal clothing for the weather and riding conditions along with a full leader's pack, helmet, gloves and eye protection. You will also need to be in possession of a valid first aid certificate or working towards one at the time of assessment.
Cost: £280 inclusive of MIAS registration, logbook, certification fees and full instruction
Who this course is for: Anyone who has a passion for mountain biking with a good personal level of off road/trail riding. Riders who are looking to lead other riders in safe, fun and informative environment.
